I've had the waffle maker for a couple of months now and used it a few times. It cooks fine, but takes some fine tuning on the setting to make sure the waffles are cooked through and not burnt. It is very messy, as most waffle makers tend to be. I've struggled to make the waffles come out the proper thickness, even thickening the batter, I still keep getting thin waffles. The construction is okay, the lid is a bit flimsy. Overall, it is okay for a cheap waffle maker. It works. It cleans up pretty easily. Not the highest quality, but you get what you pay for.

I had a Belgian waffle maker which made thicker waffles, but having to turn the maker to cook on both sides was a pain. Although the directions were on the maker they never seemed to come out right; also took a long time. The Cuisinart waffle maker was perfect for me. It made tasty waffles with the enclosed recipe and it was easy and QUICK.

This little waffle maker cooks fast! It made waffles that were crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside waffles. I Love my new Cuisinart Round Waffle Maker.

The waffle iron is just the right size for our needs. The thing I don't like about the maker is the lid is a bit loose and you have to make sure you close it perfectly or some of the batter leaks out. The other feature is darkness slide. It also is very loose. I thought it would have had a firmer touch to it but doesn't. Not really sure if this is the way the waffle maker is designed or there is flaws in the one I have. It does make decent waffles though.
