The reason I purchased your product is because I like nice brown crispy waffles. Your waffle iron has 5 levels which allows for that.
However, level 4 cooks them extremely dark in the center and like on the outside.

There is a lot of play in the doneness setting lever. Never sure where exactly it is set. But somewhere between 2 and 4 we assume. And the "heavy" top isn't that heavy so the bottom side gets much more done than the top
