I pushed too hard to close the top and the handle loosened. There doesn’t appear any way to tighten it back.

This is a heavy lidded waffle maker that makes perfect classic (thin and crispy) waffles. Just use 1/2 cup a batter each time and there’s no overflow. It has heat setting dial for crispness. One spray of Pam each use and wipes cleans. Love it
