This is our 2nd waffle iron from Cuisinart of the same model. This works well except now it seems that the steam that comes out of the iron does so at spot where the handle is. I've almost burned myself a few times. I'm actually thinking of sending it back.

The handle broke first try. It’s flimsy. But the waffles came out fine. You can’t use the waffle maker without the handle, as that’s the only part that isn’t hot, to open the lid.
