The top is too loose & therefore does not cook the edges of the waffle. Leaving it on longer makes the inner part over cooked. Followed the directions & recipe to the letter, but still not what I would expect from Cuisinart.

I love this waffle maker. It's very easy to use and quick to cook each waffle. It browns nicely. The only drawback is I am concerned about the hinged lid. It seems wobbly and I'm not sure how long it will last.
