How long?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had this ice maker installed today. How long does it take for the ice maker to make it’s first batch of Ice? I’ve had the refrigerator plugged in for almost 3 hours now but still no ice. The green light is on.

Light's on, no ice

overall pleased with ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have been pleased overall with fridge and ice maker....question i have is has anyone complained or commented about having tiny minute metal shavings in your ice cup when you do crushed ice? my daughter has informed me this has happened a couple times to her already and want to know if anyone else has seen this?????

Missing Part

I purchased the IM117000 top mount ice maker and it did not come with the 5304520537 Bracket for the 30 inch refrigerator. Everyone keeps handing me off to someone else saying that its a problem for another department

Part missing from Ice Maker kit

I bought the ice maker kit (IM117000) per the recommendation for my 30" wide refrigerator, however spacer 5304520537 is missing from the kit. The ice maker will not work without this spacer. We keep getting the run around.

Is there an on/off button?

I just moved into a place that came with a fridge and this ice maker. The ice maker is pretty much set up, except there is a sort of lever that is separated and next to it. I have been unable to make ice thus far.
Where/how should I attach this lever? And is there an on/off button?

Ice Maker light

I have a question about this ice maker. I bought a FFHT1835VBO Frigidaire and I’m disappointed that the freezer isn’t lit. I need a flashlight to see what I have in the freezer. I have a IM117000 ice maker that will be installed when the people I bought it from can find one. Does the ice maker have a built-in light or do I need to keep my flashlight nearby.?

Very slow ice maker

I recently bought this ice maker for my new Frigidaire top freezer refrigerator.
I’ve never seen a longer harvest cycle in an ice machine and I’m in the business over 35yrs.
Furthermore no automatic shutoff arm ?
I’m hoping the manufacturer has answers or it will be going back

The icemaker will make between 2.5 and 3 pounds of ice every 24 hours. The icemaker is also designed with an automatic, built-in signal arm that will shut off once the ice bin is full.
