I had a side by side and couldn’t find things or had enough room to store leftovers etc. But it did have plenty of door shelves.
The only complaint I have with this French door unit is that it has limited shelves in the door. But I love the door in the door feature.

We just love our new fridge. The third door just for drinks..omg so cool. I love the black stainless...not a fan of the silver, but the black it is beautiful.

Only one week, then ice dispenser stopped working.

We bought the new GE Profiles PFD28KSLSS, but after one week, ice dispenser stopped working. We are on business travel and not at home; therefore, plan to get technical support to fix it when come back home

GE French Door Refrigerator

It is attractive, and the size and features meet our needs. The freezer is spacious and well designed with compartments, dividers, and multiple storage areas for various sized items, making it easy to organize. The refrigerator has adjustable storage shelves and drawers so that you can design the interior to efficiently hold anything you need to store. It is well lit too. The ice and water dispensers are conveniently located on the outside of the refrigerator for easy use. The one thing that could be improved is the ice dispenser is erratic in the volume that comes out and the ice doesn't just drop out, it is "thrown" out is a wide area instead of simply dropping into the glass or pitcher.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this fridge to replace our old Samsung one. After reading all the reviews it was the right choice. It’s made in the USA and has great customer service as well as support if something should go wrong. It’s very quiet and LOVE the door in door feature especially when you have kids. It holds a lot of food in both fridge and freezer. Good job GE!

Perfect refrigerator for a family of four

The Black Stainless-Steel GE Profile refrigerator matched with other GE appliances in our home. It has a lot of storage space for both top and bottom. We don't use much ice so the small ice maker is fine. After a few weeks we don't notice the noise. We like the auto refill feature and door in door is very convenience to pick a quick drink. It looks nice with the colored LED light for a drawer. I have compared with other brand names and now happy to make a right decision to buy the refrigerator PFD28KBLTS with a discount/promotion recently.

we bought a new high efficient profile fridge and feel we and the public are not being informed prior to purchase of the louder sounds while running this refrigerator makes . only after you read the manual or call out a technician and of course made the purchase do they tell you its common for these new refrigerators to be louder. the hum on a quite evening is unbearable
