Gone Before It’s Time

Model MFC7500VW. This is a compact, front loading washer. I own it at a home in the mountains that is only used occasionally. Although it’s about 10 years old, it’s had less than one year of actual service. It just stopped working with error codes E06 and F06. I was told the only resolution is a new motor or new washer: With so little actual service, I expected many more years of use. Very frustrating and disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Control Panel Unresponsive

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This machine came with a new build condo I moved into in November 2023. It worked great up until last month, when the control panel became unresponsive. Machines like this should last much longer.

Less than 2 months use and it quit

This washer came with our new motorhome. Used it less than 2 months and one night it turned itself on. I turned it off, went back to bed, and it came on again. Turned off the circuit breaker. Next day I turned on the power and it started running on its own. It starts all over at the end of the cycle it's on. Door won't open since I cant get it to an off position. All reviews I see show this is a common problem. These are very difficult to access on an RV so steer clear of this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible product-starts on its own.

This unit came in my motorhome which I purchased a year ago and I have had nothing but problems. The unit has a timer that seems to have a mind of its own. When a normal cycle is started (55 minutes), it starts counting down until approximately 30 minutes and then it jumps up to 119 minutes. After a while it drops to 10 minutes and then finishes. These numbers vary from cycle to cycle but it never counts down properly. It has also spontaneous started by itself. The machine turns on and makes noise but no water enters. Tried to turn it off but the on/off switch doesn't do anything. Had to shut off the breaker to stop it. I have had two control boards (one of which only worked three months) and the machine still does not work properly. Called Whirlpool and they said I had to get a technician out again to look at it. What now, a third control board?

Tried to call and get help.... Never could talk to a real person...... totally frustrated!!
