I was nervous about this counter depth refrigerator and that there wasn’t going to be enough space. The additional shelving on the doors is great, along with the pull out drawers.

I've had quite a few refrigerators but hands down; this is the most sleek, energy efficient and storage friendly one I have had.
Having a 2 year old daughter and knowing she is going to want to touch all of the "buttons"; the lock feature on the water/ice is fantastic!

All Show and No Go!

I bought this lovely refrigerator because I felt confident in buying a product built by General Electric. I have owned this refrigerator 5 years at this point. At this moment I have just returned from making a cooler and ice run at 11pm. This is due to the fact that every 18 months this 'lovely' refrigerator will leave you bankrupt. Fortunately for me I watched the service repair man and asked lots of questions while he repaired it the first year that I bought it. After that I have been repairing it like clockwork every 18th month. Same part goes bad every time. If I were in management in GE I would be embarrassed to sell this Junk to the public. Do yourself a favor before you buy this. Please remove it from the best refrigerators sold list. If this is 'best in America' I will gladly move to a foreign island. My Grandfathers would be very vocal and ashamed of General Electric products. The JUNK that rolls out the factory is a sad tribute to a company that doesn't care to produce anything less than trash.

The ice makers would be covered under the one year warranty but not the five year warranty. We're sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.
