Beautiful Refrigator

The refrigerator has everything you need and then some! Our refrigerator was delivered 16 days ago with a small dent in the door...the installers promised to report it and a replacement door would be sent. We received the new door 2 days ago and we are amazed at the quick service. There are a couple of small issue and we are hopeful that the se can resolve these when Tech comes to install the door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the fridge. It's wider than my last fridge. It has great storage bins, freezer and shelves. Everything fits easily. It's very easy to use too. The only issues I had with it was I needed an online video to instruct me on how to change the freezer and fridge temperatures. Also the automatic water fill errors out sometimes for unknown reasons.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The fridge is nice lots of space, its pretty and sleek. We love the door in door with this as we drink plenty of iced tea through the day. And your side out drawer is for all the kids snacks and drinks and it works perfectly for them.

Disappointed in quality of plastic drawers

While the Profile Counter depth refrigerator is well designed for cooling, the drawers are poorly designed. They fit cheaply and pull in and out poorly and do not seem to adjust properly. We have owned Kitchen Aid and LG in the past --- both have better quality & fit for their drawers. We are first time owners of GE appliances. Quality of inside materials do not act like they will last! However, the spacing and design of shelves is very good.

Nice unit with a couple of needed improvements

This unit came with a new home purchase and the aesthetics are lovely. The only problem I am having is the water does not dispense cold, and the freezer door is very difficult to open. You have to tug on it and that often moves the entire refrigerator unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello - We appreciate you taking the time to share your review. We are glad you like the appearance of your new refrigerator. We can understand your concern about the dispenser water temperature. Bottom freezer and french door refrigerators have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that cools 16 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. After the 16 oz. of cold water is dispensed, any additional water dispensed will not be chilled until the water in the coil tubing has had time to chill again. We are sorry the freezer door is very difficult to open. You can rub paraffin wax on the hinge side of the door. Paraffin wax is used for canning purposes and can be purchased at most grocery stores.
Petroleum jelly can also be used.
