Great but very noisy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a month ago, the design, size, and function are outstanding. The single issue is the noise when the water is dispensed for drinking, or when the ice maker fills with water; it is excessive. For the cost, it seems like a better solenoid or noise-dampening wrap should have been used. The noise is loud enough I have considered returning and purchasing a different brand.

Tons of Issues

I bought this fridge about a year ago because it was beautiful and for the past 4 months it has stopped working multiple times for 3 days at a time. It typically stops working Thursday and by Monday it is working again and everytime we have called the service, they have been unable to diagnose the problem since the fridge has started up again. The fridge completely stops cooling which has caused us to get rid of a ton of freshly bought produce and the ice has completely melted and will only dispense water. It has been a very frustrating experience as the user interface has been replaced as well as the ice box and it is still not properly functioning. As of yesterday the fridge stopped working again and we scheduled another appointment but do not believe it will be fruitful if the fridge decides to start working again. With the amount of money we have spent on this fridge, we expect it to function at least half as well as our old one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful Fridge!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is my second Kitchenaid Fridge in 15 years. The first is still working and looking beautiful but it was included in the sale of our home. I am expecting this new fridge to be as beautiful and reliable. I can keep fresh food longer. There is more than enough shelving for me. I love to cook and entertain so being able to have a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables on hand. I love it!

the unit has cosmetic appeal

It did not come with a homeowner manual - maintence and operation instructon.
Currently, the ice/water dispense is "lock" and we can not adjust.
Freezer temperature is at 18 and increasing getting warmer.
vegtables in the drwaer are icee. Repari is scdeudle on Fruday, October 4th.

Freezer and Ice Maker issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed 3 weeks ago and having an issue with the freezer not keeping things frozen. Doors are not aligning right. Seems to be a door issue. Will not dispense cubed ice. Its a mix of cubed and crushed ice.
