2 yrs old and failed. Service tech not available for 10 days. Prior to this the temps are inaccurate and regularly lost produce due to freezing. My neighbors have had similar temp problems
We are buying a fridge for garage to try to salvage some items
11k ! What a crime

Ice Production Hack
on August 10, 2025

Love the fridge, had the same issues with the ice maker. Here is a hack to help your fridge produce way more ice. Buy a rv fridge fan and get a big pack of D cell batteries. Set freezer temp to minus 8 (max cool) and put the rv fridge fan right under the ice tray and let it do its thing. I get almost double the production of ice!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buyer beware

Im having the same issue that most people have had with their freezer. We've had this Fridge for 3 months. CONDENSATION on all my freezer items, they are wet and there's frost inside sealed food. It's a FOOD SAFETY ISSUE at this point and when the technician sent pictures to kitchenaid pro-line they said condensation is "normal". This is absurd! All this was after the second time a certified tech came out for same issue along with ice going everywhere. Currently trying to send pictures again and make them see that this is not normal but don't know if Kitchenaid will come through.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we love it! We have had it for 3 weeks and love how big it is and all the lights inside. So far it’s a great refrigerator and it holds a lot of food.

New 48" built in unit
on July 17, 2025
Posted by: none15
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My prior Kitchenaid refrigerator with incandescent light bulbs was much brighter inside. There should be brighter LED lights or more of them inside the fridge and freezer.
There is a lot of heat under the door seals which the prior unit never had. Is this normal or is there a problem with my unit?
The unit is very expensive.

Ice maker is so slow
on June 26, 2025
Posted by: Houman

Bought the KitchenAid 48" built-in refrigerator in October of 2024. It looks very nice and keeps good temperature. The size is good and the various shelves and drawers provide very good organization. However the deal breaker for me and the reason I wouldn't recommend this refrigerator is how slow it is with making ice. We are a family of four and we are always out of ice. Our subzero before this made so much ice that the container was always full.
