Worst Refrigerator I've Ever Purchased

I am updating my previous review of the KitchenAid KBSD708MPS after KitchenAid customer support asked me to contact them regarding my issues.
The update is disappointing. I was told that the stainless steel door handles rusting is considered a “cosmetic” issue and is therefore not covered under the warranty. This is extremely frustrating given the price point of this refrigerator.
So far, my issues with this fridge have included:
• About 4 months after purchase, the refrigerator doors would not stay closed and would randomly pop open even after being fully shut.
• Inconsistent temperatures throughout the fridge.
• Door handles rusting within two years of purchase despite never being exposed to water or harsh conditions.
• Every time the refrigerator or freezer is opened or closed, the motor at the top makes a strange noise for several seconds.

Overall, I highly do NOT recommend this refrigerator, especially at this price. Customer support will encourage you to reach out to them to resolve the problem, only to ultimately tell you the issues are not covered under warranty. Save yourself the frustration and spend your money elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
