I’m very pleased with my new GE cooktop. This is the second glass cooktop I have owned. I especially like the specialty burners. The two power boil burners bring a large pot of water to boil quickly, the keep warm burner holds food at just the right temperature and the melt burner works perfectly for melting foods like chocolate and cheese. I recommend this cooktop.
Had it less than a month and one burner quit working

We'd like to assist you with your cooktop burner going out. Check to be sure the correct control is set for the surface element you are using. You can also turn off the circuit breaker or remove the fuse that powers the cooktop, wait one minute, and restart it.
If this suggestions above don't help with the burner, please schedule a service appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
Scratched horribly from a nonstick pan bottom with the very first use! I have to scrub/clean/polish every time it's used. I have had glass top stoves for the last 20 years and I've never had this problem. Very disappointed!

We're happy to provide some information on using the cookware for your cooktop. For the best cooking performance, we recommend using medium or heavy-weight cookware. Flat bottom pans are essential for good cooking performance since the bottom of the pan needs to touch the glass for the best heat transfer. We recommend cleaning it with an approved cooktop cleaner like Weiman's or CeramaBryte Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner. We recommend taking a look at the link below for some helpful tips: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16244
