Good, not perfect

One if my mounts broke, nothing major, but since i paid a lot i expected the money to much the built quality.
The application is really easy to use.
Helps with Instagram stories etc.

Right now I am using my Go Pro 10 for black and white photography, since it is so small i can fit it anywhere (check my Instagram @papadopavlos)
Marketing-wise I believe the head mount should be free/included with the GoPro since it is the one capturing the "most POV" experiences, hence making people use your products and sharing their stories
Long story short,
Great product, but there is a room for improvement regarding the gadgets and the pricing

Doesn't float when using protective housing

Be careful when using this for scuba diving as it does not float at depth with a HERO9 and the Protective Housing + Waterproof Case. During a recent scuba trip to Maui my Hero 9 with the waterproof case and the floating handle came off my wrist approximately 25 ft below the surface. Once I realized it, I surface and began looking for the bright orange handle, which was nowhere to be found. Luckily we were able to find the camera at the bottom of the ocean between some rocks, but it was definitely not floating.

I used this accessory to bring my GoPro with me on open water swims and kayaking trips, either clipped to the kayak or stuffed into my swim trunks. Unfortunately on a recent kayak supported swim the camera housing detached from the handler as I flipped the kayaking while getting on board. While the floating stick was still clipped to the kayak the camera housing with the camera inside had detached.... I am pretty sure the camera was well connected to the handler but of course impossible to check or verify. Thinking how to add an additonal layer of security in the future, e.g. by protecting the detachable clip with a layer of duct tabpe etc....

the connection is weak and my handle safely floated but my go pro is at the bottom of the lake☹️

I use this a lot. For general filming and underwater shots too. Very comfortable to grip and lanyard is useful too. Love it!

Lasted a year...

Maybe it's not meant for the ocean but it lasted a little over a year. Unscrewed and fresh water rinse after each snorkel and surf session. The plastic mount broke. I'm still buying another...

it will not float when deeper than 15 meters

when diving with the floaty and gopro 8 in diving hosing. i found that the floaty floats up to a depth of 14.9 meters tany deeper and it becomes a sinky. as the foam is compressed by thepressure.
