worst coffeemaker ever

Bought this one when my old reliable 20 year old coffeemaker finally gave up. Without a doubt, this is the worst coffeemaker I have ever owned. The coffee is cold by the second cup. It is awkward to pour out of the heavy pot. Cleaning the coffeepot is hard to do because you can't get a washcloth inside easily so you need to use a long handled brush. The design is awful, to use it is awkward. This had to be designed by someone that hates coffee drinkers. Sorry Cuisinart, you really blew it with this one...next time I'll buy a Krups...as soon as I can get rid of this clunker.

Bought this coffeemaker last week to replace another Cuisinart. Looks beautiful and set up with no problems. Made first pot, it stopped about half way through and ErH code came on display. The warming plate got so hot it boiled the coffee in the pot! Unplugged, cooled down and reset. Tried two more times with same results. Boxed it up and returned to store for refund. This model is a piece of garbage! And dangerous.

Less than a month ago we purchased this to replace a Cuisinart coffee maker we had for 20 years. Then we went to make coffee on Christmas morning and it wouldn't brew. All the lights went on but nothing happened. The function knob wouldn't work. Returning it today.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awful Machine - Extremely Disappointed

Awful!!! Only brewed coffee twice before getting an error message and flashing brew button light. I’ve owned several Cuisinart coffee makers over the years and have always been happy with them. Not sure what happened in the product development and testing cycle on this one, but it’s a huge failure. (Look at the other reviews). Please tell me Cuisinart isn’t going the way of American auto manufacturers— more technology with zero reliability.

Great coffee, Carafe needs works

Coffee is great—temp on target, flavorful (I prefer paper filter but it comes w a gold filter), hot plate keeps things hot. Easy to use and ticks all the boxes: programmable, window to easily monitor water level as you are filling, removable cones for washing. Carafe is problematic. Others noted it spills and yes, it dribbles around the edges of the spout. This is my 2nd Cuisinart coffeemaker but the first time it’s dribbled. So you have to pour slowly and carefully to minimize (not prevent) dribbling and I ultimately started pouring over the kitchen sink so that I wouldn’t have to wipe down the countertop. Reality is no one has time or mental clarity to do that at 530am daily, so that’s annoying. But, this dribbling did not happen w my first Cuisinart coffeemaker. Thankfully, I had my old carafe (the coffeemaker popped out after 10y, but the carafe was still good), so I JUST swapped carafes and not only does it fit the new coffeemaker, no more dribbling! The difference is the old carafe has a collar around the end of the glass, while the new one I just the sleek glass on which the sleek black top w spout sits—but the sleekness allows dribbling! The black collar from the older carafe seems to do the trick and keeps things tidy and dry.
