More Trouble Than Their Worth!

The concept is good but the product was not created with the consumer in mind as their is no consideration towards foundations and colors. The lights work completely unusable as the string/cord is way too wide and pure white which shows and stands out from the home.and or doesn't fit under certain eaves. I contacted govee for a full refund and was told that I "would be responsible for sipping because it wasn't a product defect." When in fact that's exactly what it is. So, I threatened to go to my bank for a full refund as I am not able to use this product on my home at all and then they sent me a return label. Do your measurements and research.

Hard to customize

The layout of lights is so small it's very hard to tap the light you want. After you tap a light you have to wait a second or 2 for it to register, very annoying. In auto play you should be able to switch between scenes more often thn every 5 minutes. Please make an option for every 30 seconds or even less also for the curtain lights. Every 5 minutes seems like forever when your trying to do a festive display. That's why I bought these things.

Govee permanent lights outdoor.

They are bright. But due to the way you have to install them facing straight down. The brightest is only from straight underneath. But from the side or sidewalk it isn't as bright as my other 10 lights. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Amazing and so Beautiful!

The set up process definitely requires a little time and careful measuring to assure you get the right amount of length. Govee really should consider sending more screw on clips as the few they do send was not enough for the money paid. The app does lack more programs that I anticipated unfortunately. I had to custom make a 4th of July one and the Christmas ones are all strobe like and not pulsing which was kind of upsetting. Besides those two flaws, very good product and absolute Beautiful!

Best and Brightest Programmable String Lights

Makes my neighbors Christmas lights look inadequate when I turn on a full 150 foot string of these outdoor Govee RGBIC LED lights. I love that they remain up year round and I can change the colors/themes/dynamic lighting with an easy to operate Govee app on my phone. Two challenging items: sticking the 3M taped backs of the lights onto outdoor wood and spanning across the sides of your roof that have rafters sticking out and are wider than the light spacing. The 3M tape I found works best if you use a rag and rubbing alcohol to clean the place the light will be stuck to and do the same every other light for the provided wire hold downs that come with a screw (the best way to keep some spots that do not stick to stay in place). The rafters I had to get creative and double up on the lights (ie. put one light on the bottom of the rafter and the adjacent light on the bottom side of the roof and then repeat in which there would be approximately double the lights due to the two different mounting locations for every two lights). All in all, it was all worth it. Can't wait now for each season and the various lighting schemes I'll use (and just plain white lights for a bright outdoor lighting of the front exterior of the house on normal times, good for that secure feeling that nobody can lurk in the dark around the front of your house since there is no dark spots anymore.)

Great outdoor perm lights

Installed one set on the front of the house for Christmas. Will install the other set this weekend on the backside of the house. Neighbors love the light shows and we're glad we can leave them up after the holidays!
