Needs standard screw in option

Beautiful lights and brings us joy, however they started to fall within 48 hours and by 72 hours most of the light strings had fallen :( screw clips should come standard!

PRO TIP: Power up BEFORE installation

I bought 3 segments of these lights and only 2 will power up. They are supposed to support up to 9 segments. I was told by support to reorder the segements. Wow, nice since they've already been installed. I've tried every combination and they even sent new lights & I still cannot get a 3rd segment to power up. PRO TIP: Light them all up first before installing them but nice when they work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the lights but the 3M adhesives do not stick!!!! We did everything the instructions recommended and every day when we go outside several of the lights are hanging down. We used all the clips that were provided and that did not help. We have now had to purchase the light clamps from a third party. These clamps should be included with the set. I am disappointed because I don’t know when the clamps will be delivered and I am unable to use my lights until they do because they look bad with the ones hanging down. Please start including the clamps in the sets. I have several people that are interested in your lights but I can’t recommend them because of the sticking issue.

I love these lights. Everyone in my subdivision put up similar lights after I got these do so much more than what they copied me on. :)

The products are great, and the service is fantastic however the app The products are great, and the service is fantastic however the app is a bit of a different story. It is a bit difficult to navigate (however I am an apple homekit user) and govee is a lot different and not native to homekit and the matter function is very basic. There is very little instructions for using it as well even YouTube offers little help.is a bit of a different story. I just love my new Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro. I bought two sets of them to cover nearly the entire perimeter of my house. I just love the flexibility they give me to light certain segments of them for different purposes. They look stunning, and are so well designed! And, I sincerely mean that! Great (no GREAT) product!

Great lights, unacceptably poor adhesion

I don't write reviews often, but with an expensive product as this, and based on my experience I felt obliged to leave some thoughts. The lights themselves look awesome, even in a heavily populated suburban area with tons of ambient lighting. Love the color options, and the white tones are perfect.
The major downside, which others have experienced, is the poor adhesion of the tape. My surfaces were cleaned and prepped well, and just about every single light on my 100ft strand failed. To remedy, I used hot glue, zip ties and more. This was even more problematic on my second floor, where access was hard enough - getting there a second time and with glue and more tools was tough.
All of this ended up with costs above the expected.
Would I buy again? Probably. Because it's still cheaper than hiring an electrician to put in outdoor recessed lighting. However, I would go straight to glue, clips and zip ties prior to even attempting adhesive.
