I should’ve done this sooner! I love these lights! They brighten the house up for security and festivities. Clean look, nice design, bright, adjustable with many effects and a wide spectrum of color selection. Also the 100 ft was a perfect fit which covered partially both sides and entire front of the house. I installed them using cable molding which I painted the same color as the trim for a perfect match to the house. I also used brackets sold separately to screw in each bulb with 2 screws. I also painted these brackets to match the trim of the house for a seamless look. Thank you to Govee for offering such a great product for a reasonable price! I only need to install once and that’s it! Great value! Definitely recommend to anyone trying to put a shine on their house! Do it!

Great lights

Just do it! These are awesome! I was on the fence about doing the install myself or hiring someone but I decided to give it a go myself to save money and I’mDgrave13 glad I did. They turned out better than I thought, only had to make one splice and 3 jumps for my elevation and I finished in about 5 hours. They look awesome!

Buy lots of clips

The lights work as described, are not hard to install and look amazing once up. Make sure to plan ahead for your cuts for a more professional look. The lights will need to be permanently attached with clips as the adhesive on the back of the lights fail quite quickly. Which leads to the review title. For the lights to be secured correctly you need to place a clip on each side of the light. Govee only provides enough clips for one side so make sure to purchase more. The app is easy to use but must be with a 2.4ghz connection and be very close to the wireless router to connect.
