I was so excited about these lights, they worked for about 3 days and all of sudden they stopped working. I will be reaching out to Govee, hopefully I can get some assistance.

Save your money, cheaper version has better mounting

Without mounting brackets like the cheaper version has, these will not be permanent with only the adhesive. The lights themselves might be better, but it was unclear when I bought these that they had an inferior mounting to the less expensive version.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
