Good idea

They are wonderful when they are working. They have been installed one week exactly today and I’ve already had to replace the controller because it quit connecting. I was told that a new controller is being sent out but I’m just worried because I have been reading a lot of issues with this. Hopefully they fix it soon because other than that I love the lights.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent lights, very easy to install!!

The Govee Pro is the way to go if you are going to need cuts and extensions. I was amazed at how bright the lights were at just 40% brightness. It took me about 2 hours total to install around 75 feet, which included installing extra wire clips (ones not included) to ensure everything stays in place without any wires sagging.
The ONLY con I have is the lack of instructions on how to utilize the app with them. You will have to use Google or Youtube to search for instructional videos on using the app. I'd like to see Govee add something like that to their web site.

Got the 200FT pro kit and it works like a champ. Quality packaging. Quality material. Forethought for adding or shortening the strands already in the box. I watched a few video's for the DIY install and followed the tips of, clean the area, heat the area and slight back and forth wiggle for best adherence, as I am in Montana and was installing when the temps were in the 40s. Worked well and the home looks awesome.
