These lights are amazing! I love it! The sticky pad on the backside of the lights weren’t holding up to good. I used a heat gun to heat up the stick pads and they worked so much better once heated up.

First, I’m almost 62 years old and I installed the lights under the eaves of 3 sides of our house. For me, I would rate the ease of the installation as a 5 out of 10. Up and down the ladder many many times (I could do 2 lights at a time before moving the ladder). I installed 200’ total. Took me 8 hours spread over 2 days.
Second, I’m not great with technology but even I could work the app.
Lastly, it looks great! Glad I did it. Even the the installation was not as easy as others could probably do, I give the overall project 10 out of 10!

This would be a 5 star review except for a couple of things.
Good: The setup was easy. I had to make a small jump which required a splice and the color code wires and splice connector made this extremely easy. I’m no electrician by the way. Once the lights were up and powered the app setup was a breeze as well. Lots of different light setups are available, and if you’re savvy you can create your own light styles.

Bad: Govee provides wire clips but not enough to put 2 on each light. I feel like this would be easy to fix, and the clips seem necessary because the 3M tape isn’t that great. The splice connector, while easy to use seems like it’s oversized. It’s hard to hide or tuck away.
