This laptop is excellent for battery life and generally works well with most Office / Adobie apps I use along simple games. I have found the AI engagement has been quick and useful even when running several apps the processor remains cool and the fan hardly ever kicks in compaired to my old Intel I5 laptop. The HP physical build and erganomices are to the expected high standard. Its still fairly early days for my Snapdragon laptop and the experience is not without some irritations.
The irritations: 1. The bios clock is set to USA CET and no matter how many times I change it the BIOS will not save the change. This means on boot, opening up the pc etc the clock is wrong and you have to wait for Mircrosoft to sync with the internet for the time to alter to GMT. I have got used to this for general use but for offline work its an issue . I have to manually change the time before saving documents that occasionally require version histories, if you forget sometime the time and date will be 8 hours ahead which I have found can cause issues with change histories on documents. 2. I have had to revet to Outlook old version as the new preinstalled version kept refusing to selete emails or remove emails to the recycle bin. so you delete 20 emails and then next time you start outlook they would return as new emails. After 3 reinstalls of new outlook over a couple of weeks I gave up and installed the old outlook format and have had no issues since.
Overall the laptop was purchased on the battery duration requirement and cooler running, for general home and small business use. Once you get past the time issues that may will go away after HP do some future BIOS updates it is a great tool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your detailed feedback on the HP OmniBook 5, Chris! We're delighted that the OmniBook 5 with the Snapdragon X Plus is delivering the cool, quiet, and efficient performance you expected. We hear you on the frustration regarding the BIOS time sync and Outlook. Please ensure your device is running the latest firmware via HP Support Assistant, as we frequently release updates to refine system clock synchronization on this new architecture. You can also verify that "Set time zone automatically" is toggled on in your Windows settings and click "Sync now" to force a handshake between the OS and the hardware. If the issue persists after these steps, we encourage you to reach out to HP Support so we can perform a quick diagnostic and ensure your internal clock is performing to our high standards as well as application synchronization.
