Just got my first Zwilling Pro knife!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received my for Zwilling Pro knife! This is also my first professional knife. We have some Cutco knives, but I hear these are head and shoulders above the Cutco. Once I picked it up I can say I'm excited to use it.

Another Favorite for My Collection

When the opportunity to get this one came along, I jumped on it. Much to my surprise, I'm finding I use it more than the larger knife; it does as good of a job yet is much easier to control.

Best Knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this knife. We use it for nearly all manner of chopping. Knife has a good weight and feels balanced. It isn’t too long or too short, it’s just right. Has lasted a long time before handle began to split but warranty replaced it. So happy to have this knife back and I would definitely buy it again.

I bought this knife to add to a collection of the Professional S line that I started over 20 years ago. I particularly like the thinner edge. It glides through vegetables like it's going through butter. It's a lifetime knife, as are my others from this line.

Very Sharp at First

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the 180mm/7" Santoku Hollow Edge knife (Professional "S") was amazingly sharp right out of the box, and when slicing through tomatoes was almost as if the tomatoes melted away from the sharp blades. I am frustrated by how quickly the knife stopped being able to slice through tomatoes easily, requiring extra finger force or extra hand force to push or pull through. It appears I just purchased the knife in recent months and already must search for a place that does knife sharpening. I don't know if this knife can be sharpened at home to return it quickly to its prior sharpness.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
