UC-PS38 is an amazing range hood

Purchased about a month ago. Installed myself - installations instructions were better than the video but the video was helpful. Range hood is amazing. Chef in the house loves it. He cooks with natural gas, primarily with high heat, and in a wok. The suction of the UC-PS38 is impressive; big reduction inside of smoke, aerosoled oil, and steam. It's also doing a great job keeping oil it's collected from dripping back down onto the range. Haven't cleaned it yet - wanted to give it a couple months. Since I did the install, I know the pieces are not difficult to remove. Anticipating cleaning will be easy and satisfying. So far, purchase was absolutely worth it.

Great suction and Premium looks!

recently installed the Hauslane PS38 and couldn’t be happier. The suction power is excellent—noticeably better than my previous hood—and it handles smoke and steam effortlessly. The baffle filters are easy to clean, and the overall build quality feels solid and premium. The lighting is bright without being harsh, and the touch controls are responsive. Highly recommend the PS38 if you want strong performance and a sleek, modern design.

Performs better than expected! No cooking smells lingering in the house, about half as loud as the crappy microwave hood we replaced. looks great, lights are bright and well positioned. And the price??? Amazing! Don't waste your money on an extensively marketed "well known" brand, get this Hauslane and use the savings on quality ingredients for your home chef!

Love this Range Hood

We recently installed our new hood. The installation went very easy. We had ordered another model that the contractor didn't realize had only upwards venting and ours was out the back. The company made it very easy to return and the new one was here quickly. I'm looking forward to being able to put vents in dishwasher. My previous Zephyr was very strong but had a very wierd way to clean. This one is very modern looking and quite powerful.

The hood was a replacement for a microwave recirculating fan. The Hauslane unit has been very efficient in capturing heat, fumes and cooking grease from the cooking surface. I would recommend Hauslane hood units as retrofit or new kitchen design. Like all efficient hoods it does require periodic cleaning depending on on your cooking.

Hauslane- BEST exhaust hood I have ever bought

I have had my Hauslane range hood for at least 5 years now, these units are Awesome, they can really exhaust all stove fumes and smoke with ease, I usually take mine apart once a year( if you are good with tools) and do a deep clean. I recently took apart to clean, I noticed i needed to replace some parts I needed 2 rubber O-ring seals and plastic rings for the fan shrouds, I got in touch with support, they are very helpful and knew exactly the parts I needed. Thanks Hauslane for backing up a great product 5 years and going strong and expect at least 5 more,
