Great Product

I’ve had this hood installed for two full years now, and I honestly couldn't cook without it anymore. I do a ton of high-heat cooking, and my old hood used to let smoke fill up the whole kitchen especially if I was using the front burners. This Hauslane handles all of it no problem. It actually pulls the smoke and grease away from the front row before it can escape into the rest of the house.
The absolute best part though is the auto steam clean. Let’s be real, nobody wants to reach up inside a greasy range hood to scrub it out. With this, you just let the steam function do its thing, and it melts all the gross buildup away. It makes keeping the unit clean so effortless. If you were to spend money on a Hauslane, I recommend spending the little extra to get a model with this feature!

This unit sucks air as strong as a drum barrel fan. With low noise level and multiple speed control, plus the self cleaning feature, it has served our kitchen well for years.

Best range hood—highly efficient and quieter than

We were looking for a more powerful range hood than the one we previously owned, so we took a look at this model and read the reviews for it.
We wanted a unit that would cover the entire surface of the stove, as our old one allowed odors to escape from the front and sides. This model covers the whole stove, and its power prevents smells from lingering in the house.
We were looking for an effective range hood that would also be as quiet as possible while running; this one is significantly quieter than many other models, yet still highly efficient. Despite the fan having 6 speed settings, the first three are quite powerful, so there’s no need to go all the way to the sixth.
It is easy to clean, and we look forward to trying out its self-cleaning feature.
Its design and appearance add a great look to our kitchen.
We highly recommend this product.

Happy with it after a year

I’ve had the UC-PS38 since August 28, 2025, from Canadian Appliance Source, and it has been working great. It does an excellent job of quickly evacuating cooking smells, especially when frying foods with strong odors. It also performed very well throughout the winter months here in Canada, which was important to me. The controls are simple and easy to operate, and cleaning the hood is straightforward. I also appreciate that the lights are easy to replace when needed. After more than a year of regular use, I’m very happy with its performance and would definitely recommend it.

effect removal of cooking smell

under the cabinet hood model UC-PS38 is working good and removes all the cooking smell. this was my big problem while i was using Oven exhaust.
