Hauslane UC-PS38 - Workhorse

Great hood. Truly a workhorse, has dramatically changed how we cook. Steam function works pretty well too, although we still wipe down the fans.

A real working range hood at good price

I do a lot of stir fry and searing meat; while you can still kind of smell (the good smell from high heat!), my air purifier never turned on at the highest fan setting. I think the price is unbeatable at the performance with automatic cleaning function. Highly recommended!

The perfect Hood Range.
Ultimate suction for odor and smoke, I was able to stir fry on high heat, heat butter at high smoke point and pan fry my rib eye steak.
Easy to Clean with the steam cleaner, very good residential hood, minimal look and the stainless steel is premium.

Hauslane vent saved my marriage

My husband fries everything, turning the contents of our open floor plan in my new house into one big sticky dust-coated mess. My new Hauslane PS-18 vent slurps the greasy steam right out of the air just like in the video. Now i get to keep my husband AND my furniture! Thanks Hauslane

Built quality is amazing and the suction power is also amazing. The UC-PS38 has a built in cleaner which is awesome. I have been using this for almost 3 months now and its been running flawlessly. I am so happy with my purchase.

“Nearly Five Years Later, Still a Top Performer”

We’ve owned the Hauslane PS38 for almost five years now, and we’re still extremely happy with it. The fans are genuinely powerful and do a great job capturing smoke and grease, even during high-heat cooking. We really appreciate the the Perimeter Suction Design, since our range has its most powerful burners at the front, which is usually a challenge for range hoods. It helps grab as much smoke as possible from the very front edge.
While it’s not a commercial hood and won’t capture every bit of smoke from extremely high-heat cooking like searing steaks, it performs about as well as can reasonably be expected for a home kitchen. After years of regular use, it’s proven to be reliable, well-designed, and a great performer. We wouldn’t hesitate to choose it again.
