Bought this for when I travel and use rental cars - can't use the air vent version. Keeps phone secure and doesn't require the cover to be taken off of phone. Liked it so much I ordered a second one for my wife's car...
I haven't had any of the issues mentioned in other reviews yet, but then again I haven't owned this for very long...

Bought one a month ago and was very pleased with it, until it stopped expanding after a couple of weeks. Now the top is just turning and we can no longer mount it.

Spring broke again

For a while I had been looking at a way of moving my phone off the windscreen to a more practical spot. I stumbled across this purely by mistake whilst in my local Harvey Norman.
Have been using for a week and love it, no more charging cables sproon across the dash board, no more blind spot where the phone used to be In the corner of the windscreen.
Build quality appears to be very good...
Highly recommended...

I have these in several of my cars and have given them as gifts. I have seen the complaints of others but, honestly, I have not seen a chronic problem. I had one break after about 4 years and bought a replacement. My use case is such that I install it, set it and forget it. Maybe folks have more problems when they remove them and replace them more frequently. I did have a little challenge with the install in one car where the two console cupholders have a thin removable wall between them. I just needed to carefully place the mount such that the 3 legs are pushing against the solid and not movable walls.

Easy to install, works in all my vehicles

This unit is a breeze to install and use in a varity of vehicles. I am able to move it to a 2019 Subaru Accent, 2017 Subaru Outback and a 2018 Ford Explore. Adjust for all of them. I am using this with an iPhone 10XR with a slim case. Will not fit if you have a very heavy duty case like Otter Defender. There are no hight adjustments, this is the only draw back, Well built and very sturdy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
