Cameras are great. Subscription costs are quite high if you have more then 1 camera.

I have 6 cameras and the subscription cost is per cammera. It would be nice if there was a discount for multiple cameras in a single subscription. Als I have several cameras that will be in a much lesser traffic area. It would be great if they could be on a lower volume subscription and a couple others on the higher volume subscription. But the cameras are great.

Great Camera, needs more battery power.

This camera model is new and operates beyond expectations, I would have given it 5 stars except for the short battery life. On our Maine property the weather is too cold and the days are too short to supply enough power to the standard solar panel to keep it online. Unlike the fixed view original Defend cam, there is not (at this time) an optional solar panel with an additional internal battery to support the added power requirements of this camera, so it has gone into sleep mode and is currently offline.

Several differences in the DEFEND app function vs TACTACAM, still getting accustomed to the changes. We used up our limited live photos for the month, just to properly aim the camera.

The cameras seem to work well but the mounting system leaves alot to be desired. I need to be able to mount to a tree (pine tree with thick bark) and the bracket only has very small holes to use with the supplied hardware that is designed to mount into sheetrock or thin lumber. I am scared to try to drill out the holes to allow for larger hardware because if the plastic mount breaks you do not have an option for buying a replacement mount. I have them on a tree using a strap but the camera is so heavy the strap can not hold the camera level and i had to use a stick to wedge behind the mount to try to hold it level. Very disappointed on the poorly thought out mount for these cameras. Until Tactacam fixes this issue I will go back to using Reolink brand cameras for my remote security uses.
