Must have separate App from Reveal

I purchased the new 360 defend, mounted and setting up was not aware it requires separate app and subscription as my other cameras or would not have went that route.

Commented previously about having to use limited monthly live camera shots (based on plan type) to help properly set-up camera view. After further use, struggling to get used to the Defender app use when compared to Tactacam. Really miss having a numeric icon pop-up next to the app icon to let you know that new pics have been taken.

This camera is incredible, I love that you can control it from your phone. Zoom in and out is also a very nice option. I definitely want another one!

Camera has good connectivity, responsive to live picture. Needs to pan up higher, more info on photo like trail cameras. Photo cell stays charged. Motion isn’t very sensitive at times.

Remote security

Good camera. I wish the Reveal app controlled the pan, tilt features. I have a mix of Reveal and Defend Security cams for remote land security and animal watching. I routinely request HD pictures and videos but the Defend app doesn't act the same as Reveal.

Doing its job

I’m using the camera in a trial area before i take it to the country. Working well but figuring it out another matter, this was true even with the Reveal cameras I’ve been using. I ended up reading reviews to figure stuff out. Even looking at the online manual does not explain things to enough detail.

Use of my reveal next to the new 360

At this time I’m using both side by side,
they will be in different locations this summer.
They both work very well, but I will say the reveal picks up the neighbors dog much more frequently than the 360.
Overall I’m happy with both. :+1:

Works Like A Champ

We bought the Defend 360 for monitoring the traffic at our front gate. Our gate is about a 1/4 mile from the house and we have had a few instances of vandalism. The Defend 360 with its cellular connection works perfectly - we are notified immediately when someone approaches the gate. With live view we can watch if the individual is just a normal delivery are something else. If you have a remote location that needs surveillance then the Defend 360 is for you.
