Excellent product. Works perfectly in remote area. I am finally able to have good security camera at my farm where there is no WiFi. This was a perfect answer for my need. Works flawlessly so far. Thanks!

bubble on it to make sure it’s level up and down when installing would be nice. i had to tweak it after initial set up so i could pan up enough to see whole food plot. more clarity live and increased sensitivity. i’ve went live a couple times to be surprised deer standing right in front of it and it never took pic. 360 motion sensor for camera to move where ever motion is detected. love it though super cool tool.

Easy to mount

Waiting for camera to completely charge before mounting. However, have tried camera inside. Seems to work well snd sends a lot of pics. I have the top monthly service. The mounting hardware is installed on a tree that should give good coverage to house, lake and road. Recommended by insurance agent for “cabin in the woods. ”

The defend 360 camera works well. The solar panel that’s incorporated is amazing at keeping the batteries charged so you don’t need to worry about changing them or being down a camera due to batteries dying. The only issue I have faced so far is that it does not always capture a photo/video when someone walks by. This may be improved with an improved motion sensor/ better catch radius.

Does what it should, no major problems encountered so far. I have trouble connecting to it sometimes but probably more to do with cell service than the cam.

Only two complaints. One is that live streaming should be allowed much more than 5 times on the basic subscription. Bigger request is that is should be integrated with the main Tactacam app. Having to use two different apps - one for all my Tactacams and another for my Defend - is not a good solution. All cameras should be accessible from ONE app.

Why a separate app?

I bought this hoping to add it to my reveal app along with my hunting cameras but it requires the defend app. You can add the reveals to the defend app but not for the same prices as you can the reveal app. It may not be a big deal to many but when I have a dozen cameras, including the original defend, it gets costly. My reveal app with my newer cams have most all the same features as the 360 so I'm not sure why it can't be implemented into one app for a much better user experience.
