Awesome vacuum!!

I still have my original Dyson ball vacuum. It works but after all these years the brush bar is just worn out. I got this one as a replacement since my previous Dyson has lasted so long. This one is more lightweight and the suction is absolutely amazing. The pull out attachment is a bit stiff but I think it will loosen up over time. I wish there was still a foot peddle to put the back wheels up, but that is just something I prefer. Either way I am super happy with the purchase.

Not as good as my older dyson.

This was not an upgrade for me. The whole machine feels cheap, which. It is definitely NOT! Tried to contact customer service - nearly impossible. And when I finally got to talk to someone, they were rude! Think twice about purchasing a Dyson.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it abs while the longer cord is great, it tangles in my small home. Could have made the cord square and it would not tangle. Other than that, it works great

Great suction, tools are hard to use

This vacuum has plenty of power. Sadly most of the attachments just spin around when your trying to use them due to the quick connect nature of them. And the suction power is so strong the hose is constantly being sucked back to the machine when your trying to use it. I bought the most expensive version and now I have a big bag of tools I think I use two of them. The pet hair tool and the tool to get under things. The floor tools way to hard to control. Needs a solid connection point instead of a loose swivel setup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's unusual to hear that you've found the attachments aren't either attaching or working properly. They are intended to snap onto the wand or hose, and there should not be any play while using them - they should remain firmly in place. With regard to the hose, I can confirm that we would essentially expect the hose to become more flexible with time and use. A few tips we can provide would be attaching your accessories directly to your hose, as this will also help expedite stretching the elasticity of the hose. Dyson vacuums are engineered with versatility in mind and attachments may be used on either the wand or directly on the machine itself for added convenience.

Mostly good vacuum

Have owned this vacuum for 2 ish months. Overall a good vacuum. The hose is stiff and doesn’t like to say extended but hopefully with time it will relax a bit. The exhaust does run very hot when using. My previous vacuum would blow a bit warm with use but this one blows HOT air out which I did not expect but doesn’t harm the unit itself. The articulating floor tool is handy if you have a lot of hard flooring/hard to reach areas or if you don’t want to push the vacuum itself across your floors.

Love my Dyson 3!

I purchased my Dyson 3 about six months ago. I use every attachment except the pet brush frequently. I have purchased three Dyson vacuums over the past 15 years and this model is the best one yet.
I especially love the 3 floor levels on the vacuum head and how easy it is to change levels.
I love all the attachments and have also found attachments from previous models fit this vacuum too. Every attachment makes it easier to use and makes me feel like an expert cleaner.
The amount of suction on the Dyson 3 is phenomenal.
The only thing I can think of that would make my Dyson 3 better, would be if Dyson would make an attachment to clean blinds.
I would recommend this to a friend!
