Worst vacuum ever

This was the biggest disappointment ever. Couldn't even push it no matter what setting it was on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're saddened to hear that you've had such a disappointing experience with your Dyson Ball Animal 3 Extra. Your machine features an Anti-tangle Motorbar™ cleaner head, with suction control. You can slide the suction control slider located on the front of the head, to suit the floor type you are cleaning.
Having said that, there are some floor coverings which are not compatible with Dyson machines, a spinning brush bar, or stronger suctioning vacuums. You may wish to check with your carpeting manufacturer if you're still having difficulty, as they may have guidelines against using a Dyson vacuum, or recommend a machine with lower suction power.
If you're within your 30-day return window and the machine was purchased from us directly, feel free to get in touch with us at askdysonUS@dyson.com, and we'd be glad to help initiate a return.

Fantastic vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third Dyson vacuum we have used. The performance is exceptional, and the power unmatched to any other vacuum we’ve ever had before. We have a Dyson stick for light cleaning and use on the stairs. This animal handles every other square inch of our home with ease. I am continually amazed at how an area that looks clean still produces dust dirt animal hair after use with the Dyson ball vacuum

This for my family was a big upgrade. The vacuum we had before was very old and kicked up and spread more dust than it collected. This is an awesome upgrade. It glides on the floor super smoothly and picks up everything. Movement and handling is great. Also really easy to empty. Would recommend :)

Does not pick up debris

Vacuum pushes debris and does not pick it up. This includes a little popcorn kernel. It does not pick up plastic wrappers. Actually sectioned one to the shield for the rollers. Did well with dust and fur in the carpet. I didn't find it hard to push. If you have any debris that you wish to pick up, this is NOT your vacuum

Absolutely Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the new & improved Dyson vacuum. I have a dog who sheds along with 4 women in the house that have long hair. I was highly impressed after vacuuming there wasn’t a single hair stuck to the roller. All the dirt and hair was in the waste container. My husband was also happy he no longer has to take the vacuum apart to cut and unwind the hair that was stuck to the roller. Love how it’s slightly bigger not much of a difference from the one I had. This one is a game changer for my family! LOVING IT! Dyson has made this momma a happy one!

Truly the best

Old house, carpet, single pane windows, desert sand, wind, 3 dogs and 1 cat . . . and my Dyson Ball Animal 3 gets it all seamlessly and without any hair stuck on the roller. Absolutely amazing!! I love it.
