The battery lasted for 19 minutes after charging it for two days. We thought at first it just needed to be charged longer but it only lasted 19 minutes after charging. So we returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been a loyal Dyson vacum fan for the last 20 years, I have had many. Unfortunately I think Dyson has really made this much cheaper! Not sure if would have purchased if I would have done a little more research! I don't like that I have to hold trigger for suction.

My fault for not doing thorough research before purchase, but I am highly disappointed in the run time. I purchased because I had a cat dumped at my house and now I have a litter box. I have never been able to do a complete vacuum of the room where the litterbox is kept before the battery dies.
This is our second Cordless Dyson vacuum. The battery in our first vac isn't lasting very long between recharging so rather than go the replacement battery route we bought a newer version of the vac that we had. Sure wish Dyson would come up with a simple and affordable replacement battery system that didn't require a partial disassembly!
