This Dyson V8 is my first Dyson product, and I have to say "It sucks!", but in a GREAT way. It picks up dog hair, dust bunnies, and who knows what else, but that is what it was designed to do. I will certainly be using this vacuum, and other Dyson products, whenever I can. It is highly maneuverable and is the first vacuum I've owned that was able to get all the way under my king-sized bed to clean the floor. I haven't had it long enough yet to judge the battery life, but what I've seen so far has been great. I also plan to purchase a couple extra attachments for those "special" spots that are not easy to reach or clean. Overall, I can't think of a single negative to my purchase, and hope to use this for years to come.
Vacuum for 8 min then charge for 5 hours! Not very efficient

This is my second purchase of the Dyson V8. The first one I purchased the battery went out within two years. I purchase a second one and it seems that the same situation is happening again.

I have had several different stick vacs and this one is amazing. It's performed and maneuverability is great. Battery life so far is much longer than expected as well. I would highly recommend this vacuum.

Battery don’t charge fully. They need to improve mechanism.
