I received this for Christmas because we needed a new vacuum. It is wonderful! Lightweight, rays to maneuver and the cordless aspect is the best part. I enjoyed using it so much, I even vacuumed the attic! And easy to empty the canister. Not as noisy as my other brand. I am very happy with the product.

No headlight on main unit of vacuum or on the head

Disappointed It takes 5 hours to charge for 7 to 23 minutes of use. No light on vacuum. A headlight on the main unit would help seeing in dark areas. I bought this Dyson to clean my Litter Robot. Would have been helpful with headlight.

I received this v8 cordless vacuum as a gift. For the h e few weeks I've used it, it is effective and convenient for both quick pet hair pickups on hard floors and more thorough cleanings on area rugs. It did a respectable job with kitty litter. I love that it is light, maneuverable, easy to change attachments. The charging station is also convenient yet I couldn't fit the crevice tool attachment on it. The other two fit nicely. My only complaint is that the battery life could be better. It makes a wonderful backup or quick clean up tool, which is why I requested it, but it doesn't have the battery longevity for a whole house cleaning.

A Dyson V8 was gifted to us and we love it. We have an older home with carpeting and it’s picked up so much more than our old vacuum ever did. The battery did die faster than expected the first we used it so we’re trying to manage around that. Our home isn’t very big so we assumed we could use it in one fell swoop. Otherwise, it’s a great product.

I like every thing about it. It's a bit louder than my old one; but it's probably becouse it's much stronger. I love it.

I thought my older vacuum was doing a decent job. I was wrong. The Dyson has been finding dust/dirt in every little crack in the wood and tile floors.
