The Dyson V8 was bought to replace a small hand held vacuum to clean up small messes. I was concerned the V8 would be too bulky but I am very pleased how nimble it is and does a better job than the hand held vacuum. The easy, quick change out to the accessory tools is a big plus.

I bought this 3 weeks ago and I really like it. It is light weight and really picks up the dirt. The only thing I do not like is that the battery only lasts about 10 minutes. I am able to do my carpet in bedroom, which is small. That is all then I have to wait for it to recharge again which takes a long time. I tried to leave it plugged in and use but I am not able to do thisl

Awesome cleaner wish the charging block had a place to store the 3rd attachment, like maybe on one of the tubes of the vacuum, it wouldn't take up much room and we wouldn't be searching for it when we need it,just a suggestion and longer battery life would be nice

Love this vacuum! Straight out of the box we ran it over an area rug that had been vacuumed with an upright vacuum a few days before and cleaned by a Roomba the day prior - the amount of dirt and dog hair the Dyson picked up was amazing! It's super light and easy to maneuver, and sooo easy to use. Using it has a hand held is quick and convenient convenient! Love everything about this vacuum - well worth the cost.

This is my 3rd vacuum of this style from Dyson. Suction power much improved especially on pet hair. However the battery life touted to be 40 minutes only last about 15 minutes max. Very disappointed in this
