I am happy with this vacuum. It has great suction power and has a more than adequate runtime. I am in my seventies and have arthritis but find the weight to be fine. We have a long haired dog that sheds constantly and the vacuum is up for the job. The dirt cup is easy to empty, even the dog hair comes out well. The only thing I wish was different, would be a light on the floor head would be nice.

We bought this to replace our first Dyson stick. This Dyson stick has great suction, cleans up everything on the bare wooden floors, carpets and tile. We have 2 floors, and we have never run out of power. It is light to use, push, pull and carry. It is very easy to clean out.

I think it has great suction but it doesn’t stsy charged very long at all which is very disappointing. I also think it should have a light.

We've has this vacuum for about a month now. I is replacing the very same vacuum we've had for about 7 years. We like this Dyson V8, and it holds a charge long enough for us to vacuum our entire house without needing to recharge the unit, and it has great suction as well.
