So far so good!!! Love having ice on demand after our ice machine on fridge stopped working. I don’t think it’s super noisey. I think the sound is appropriate

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing. I wanted a nugget ice machine that was built to last. I chose the opal 1 over the newer opal 2. Easier to clean and the price was right on sale. Excited to see the preformance. Super easy to clean. I love the drain feature right into the sink. I did not yet purchase the side water tank but plan too.

Great Ice Maker! Highly Recommend Side Tank!

This works great for an average size household. If you have 4-5 in the household this is a great model. If you have a larger family, you may have to run this ice maker 24/7. Overall, is very easy to use. I really recommend using the side water tank reservoir, you won’t have to fill with water as often. Love it!
