My whole family LOVES this ice maker!

This is our 3rd ice maker that we have owned so we love to have ice around!
My kids especially enjoy this ice maker and couldn’t wait for it to arrive because of the type of ice that it makes which is “nugget” ice which is very popular at some fast food restaurants such as Raising Canes, Chick-Fil-A and even the Costco food court! This style of ice really is great!
This GE profile ice maker was very easy to setup and use right out of the box! We did get the extra side piece so that added one extra small little step to connect that still only took 2 seconds to do. Next we plugged it in, added water and turned it on, very very simple!
Also as always with any GE profile product this looks amazing in my kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE Opal Nugget ice machine is hands down our most used and favorite appliance in our home! We had it out of the box and running within 20 minutes. The setup is so, so easy. I like the clear window so you can see in to the unit. And I love that any melted ice just drains down into the water reservoir that is used to make new ice. You never have to empty anything or dispose of anything. It's also fairly quiet for an ice machine. I can hear it running but it's not loud or bothersome. The ice is produces is perfect -- like something you'd find at a restaurant. Amazing!

The good ice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always like the little nugget ice cubes, but I had no idea how big of a hit it would be with my family. My kids actually want to eat this ice, which is a big win because I usually can't get them to drink much water. The machine's appearance is streamlined and sharp and looks great in my kitchen. It does make some weird noises if air gets trapped in the water lines, but that is easy to remedy. Overall, this is a great way to get that good ice that everyone loves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a too notch ice machine. The aesthetics and exterior design gives it a super futuristic look. The opal ice maker creates perfect sized pelleta of ice that cools drinks quickly, yet makes it soft enough to chew on. Kids love it, wife loves it. It creates ice quikly as well, not loud, and the lid is large enough to use a scooper without having to worry about dropping any ice. Great product!

As soon as you get it set up and put water in, it automatically starts making everyone's favorite little ice pellets! Very easy set up and we had ice within an hour! It's a favorite small appliance in our home!

This machine is so fast and easy to setup. The ice is clean and delicious everytime and I love the amounts it makes at one time. Definitely worth every penny.

This ice helps when making drinks, or just adding into any beverage. The ice it makes reminds me of sonic ice, its fun to just it it! It doesn’t take long for to be made.
