Good ice. Problem w/screeching and thumping noise

Love the ice. Problem with VERY loud screeching and thumping noises. We have to take a straw and dislodge ice from the dispenser or turn it off so the ice will melt. Per my research, this is a huge problem with this product. Dozens and dozens of YouTube videos concerning this problem. I just bought it. Why continue to sell a poorly designed item? Wish I had looked into this before I spent so much money.

Amazing product, it is quiet, it makes ice very quickly and is super simple to operate. We purchased the side tank and it more than keeps up with our household of 5 people! Highly recommend

Close to crushed ice

Well I just plugged it in 2 hours ago and already have plenty ice for two people and then some. They are small, close to being crushed ice, which I prefer.. So far no noise to speak about. I truly Recommend..
