Best nugget ice machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my Opal Nugget Ice machine and wow. This product is very solid. It has a fill line in the bottom of the ice maker, found by lifting the lid and taking out the ice. Holds about a half a gallon or a bit more. The nugget ice products in about 10 mins of hitting the ice maker button on the top of the Opal machine.
We did have to run two cleanings before use. We used distilled water as to not allow build up on the machine. Both cleanings run for 3 mins and once done you will need to drain the Opal machine in your sink by taking the hose off the back (not labeled side tank) from the top and laying the hose over your sink or bowl until fully drained. You will need to clean your machine ever two weeks to avoid build up.
This Opal Ice Nugget machine is so easy to use anyone can use it and man do we love the little Opal ice. It’s my favorite ice as it’s chewable and taste really good, better then the bigger ice cubes. It’s perfect for cocktails, and my sweet tea. The top flip lid detects when you’re using ice and starts producing more as it’s used. Products a lbs of ice an hour so you never run out of Opal ice. Comes with a clear scooper to use in your ice machine. Very soft running machine so don’t worry it’s not loud. I highly recommend this Opal Ice Nugget machine for your beverage needs, for parties, get togethers, and or just a great chewable ice machine. I love ice and these I can chew and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s one of those things you never knew you needed until you get it and can’t imagine your life without it anymore. Makes the cutest little ice nuggets. I love using my filtered water and knowing I’m getting nice clean ice. No more running to the store for the bag of gross chunky ice when you have a party and the fridge ice maker is not keeping up. It’s also great to have in the basement, we have a little bar set up, so no more ice buckets and running upstairs for ice, better than ice cube trays too. Overall very happy with it

I got this ice maker machine right before the holidays and it was such a hit with my guests. Set up was super easy and within an hour I had the perfect small sized ice cubes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I cared so much about ice until I got and used this ice machine. First of all it produces high quality ice quickly. It is easy to set up and you will have ice in about 20 minutes. Next it is the overall experience of the opal nuggets that really are a game changer. It seems to just make any drink better! The look of this product is sleek and will go well with any kitchen style. My only recommendation is to make sure you measure the space you intend this to go into as it is a little larger than I expected when I took it out of the box. That is a small drawback since this is overall such a great quality product. I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE Opal Nugget Ice Maker with Flip lid is very easy to use. Out of the box, I cleaned the machine first (sanitized it). Then, connected the side reservoir tank. I then filled the tank & the interior reservoir with distilled water and turned the power on. Within 10 minutes it started dropping its first opal nuggets. and after running for 2.5 hrs it was completely full. It comes with a little scooper, which is handy. This machines makes delicious ice and it is also a very nice looking appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this is a lot more heavy duty than I thought it would be from the online description. It definitely does the job and if you love good, crunchy, nugget ice you'll LOVE this. We don't have a fridge with a built-in ice maker and it's really inconvenient to have to always be filling and refilling ice cube trays so this is really nice and simple. However, it does have some cons; when I mentioned that it was heavy duty, it truly is a sturdy machine but it's literally HEAVY; I didn't realize that it was going to be about 40 lbs. It's also a little on the large side and you definitely need to have a good place to put it, whether it be a decent amount of counter space or a side table or something like that but it has a decent-sized footprint.
I can absolutely see how this would be especially great for someone who does a lot of entertaining or for those who are lucky enough to have an outdoor kitchen where this could be used during the summertime. This is absolutely nicer than refilling ice trays!
