I've had the Ecotank ET3850 for about a month. It was quite easy to set up, and the print quality is excellent. Perhaps best of all, the genuine Epson ink for it is ink sold at a remarkably low prices, without needing any ridiculous "subscription". That makes the cost per page less than 1/8 that of my old inkjet printer. I switched to Epson Ecotank from another major brand, and I'd never switch back.
I use my ET-3850 on ordinary paper, card stock, and printable vinyl material, and it works well on all of them.
I have recommended this printer to my friends with no reservations whatsoever.

Works with Ubuntu Linux With Zero Setup

This is a "I opened the box 30 minutes ago" review so I suppose take with a grain of salt, but the setup was amazing with Linux (Ubuntu 24.04). I plugged an ethernet cable from my router into the printer (for the same network my computer is on), and I had to do literally nothing else for it to connect. Did not install anything, did not reboot anything, printer just automagically showed up as an option to print and scan and both worked (the computer was set up with another printer from another manufacturer so YMMV with a clean install). Maybe this says as much about Linux as about Epson, but Epson is certainly involved, and was a lovely new printer experience.

I bought the certified renewed ET-3850 a few months ago (we still have a great ET-2670) & it is a fabulous printer. I love not having to buy the expensive cartridges & a refill lasts for many months. I could not tell it was not brand new. I am well pleased & will buy one for my daughter.

high capacity of ink, high efficiency, print quality is very good compare of all ink jet printers, easily connect to Wi-Fi, all functions are working great. love it.

Inkless Printer 4 Me!

It doesn't always print. I am a teacher, so printer is definitely a work tool. This one does save on ink, but it is hit or miss when needing to print or scan. Connection may play a part. I often have to plug the Wi-Fi into the printer, then I can disconnect the plug, and it keeps the Wi-Fi. Prints could be brighter with more color accuracy.
