Overall a great knife, works well holds sharpness. I have an older (much) set of that style know and the handle quality has gone down. But as for the blade that is still very high quality. I would recommend it.

The knife is incredibly sharp out of the box and has a beautiful polish. All the knives are very corrosion resistant and seem to keep an edge after a long day of meal prep for the week ahead. The knife is comfortable in the hand and I've never managed to knick or chip the blade. This knife is definitely a lifetime purchase and it shows.

Perfect fit for my small hand, the bolster in part

While I already had a slightly smaller Nakiri, I recently had a good experience with a Zwilling knife I ordered. My smaller Nakiri had Grantons, and I wanted something with just the blade. The first time I used the Zwilling Nakiri I was in knive nervana. It was a perfect weight, the handle fit my small hand, and part of the reason I needed an upgrade was due to an injury that left me with less grip strength. I love this knife and it may very well be my favorite in no time. It came out of the package sharp, it is durable (likely to last a long time), the craftsmanship is outstanding, and I am confident I can use it with precision and safety, the two things most important for me and my kitchen right now. I'm glad to have discovered the Four Star line because the bolster is perfect for my style of holding the knife, and I've ordered two more knives since. Thank you!
