[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product requires an adapter (can’t simply plug it into an outlet)! I do not like the sensation of the electric toothbrush at all.

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on our product for Philips Sonicare 4100 Series. In regards to the toothbrush adapter, we want to let you know that our product team has matched the best design that is consistent across the globe. However, we get your point and will definitely share your feedback with our product development team.

Regarding the sensation of the electric toothbrush this is not the experience we wish you to have. As you find the toothbrush to be too intense or uncomfortable, we recommend trying few troubleshooting steps. Some electric toothbrushes offer multiple intensity levels. You can try starting with a lower setting to see if it provides a more comfortable brushing experience. If the sensation is too harsh, switching to a softer brush head can help reduce the intensity while still providing effective cleaning. Electric toothbrushes are designed to do the work for you, so there's no need to apply excessive pressure. Try using a lighter touch and let the brush do the cleaning.

Hi Nubin,

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you are not pleased with the performance of your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush. Please note that if your toothbrush is vibrating less powerfully, we recommend charging it overnight for at least 24 hours because a toothbrush without a fully charged battery may need more power to vibrate at its original strength. The chargers for all Sonicare toothbrushes are different and not compatible with other Sonicare models. We recommend charging the toothbrush using the original charger that came with it. It could also mean that your brush head is worn. We recommend replacing your brush head every three months. You can purchase a new brush head in our online store.

We hope this will improve your experience. However, if the issue still persists or you have any additional questions, please get in touch via Social Media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and Twitter (@PhilipsCare). Don’t worry, if you don’t use Social Media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact.

Hope to speak to you soon.

Disappointing product

I had an E-Series Phillips toothbrush for many years that was excellent. I purchased this one about six months ago and my teeth NEVER feel clean and my gums bleed when I floss. Do not waste you money on this model.

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. This is not the experience we wish you to have with the Philips Sonicare AirFloss. We would like to indicate that it's common to experience discomfort or bleeding when starting a new oral care routine, especially if certain spots haven't been cleaned effectively before. However, this should improve as your gum health progresses. We recommend contacting your dentist if you bleed a lot or if it does not stop after four weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery has 'died' after only 2-3 of months of use. Started off with a charge of about
10 days but has gradually diminished over the months. Toothbrush currently only holds 3 days of charge, and I suspect that it will be down to one day in the next few weeks.

On Button failed

Had their Diamond toothbrush - failed. Bought this one - failed. Both lasted just a year to 15 months. I like their toothbrushes - but the quality is just so bad for the money we pay!
This one probably would have worked for much longer - if not the rubber on the on button would have dissolved and cause the on button to fail. How ridiculous! You guys saved maybe a penny on the rubber on an otherwise good toothbrush. I am really upset about such arrogance and saving for the sake of saving, not with the customer in mind. Well, forget it. We - the customers - do not count anyhow.

Terrible product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t remember which model I had before this one but it lasted a good 8 years before losing a charge. I thought this version would be an upgrade but the motor was weaker than a kids wind up toy. My partner got the same one and we were both saying what the heck to each other. Surely these are broken? Not according to Reddit they aren’t. Folks said that’s what you get now. Seems like they aren’t made to last or even function the same. So this product gets returned and my old faithful is still up to bat.
