Excellent but no power adapter included

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is an excellent electric toothbrush from an extremely reputable company. It gradually increases the vibration over the first 14 days, which is a great feature for those who are new to electric toothbrushes. The device is lightweight but feels solid in your hand. My dentist recommended an electric toothbrush for me years ago because I was brushing too hard, and it was causing damage to my gums. This brush makes it super easy to brush softly and let the brush do most of the work. It will even vibrate and beep as a warning if you happen to brush too hard. The 2-minute timer is perfect for me, as otherwise I tend to brush too quickly. The QuadPacer feature is actually very helpful and lets you know when it's time to move to the next section of your mouth.
My only real complaint is that it does not come with a USB power adapter, so you have to buy one or find one laying around your house. It seems like a silly thing for Philips to be cheap on, especially since it's designed to just leave on the charger. A matching white adapter should be included.
I also wish that it didn't automatically turn off after the 2-minutes are up. Sometimes I feel like I'm not quite done and would like to brush a little longer, but it shuts off automatically.
It comes with one standard brush head in the package. Sonicare makes several types of brush heads, so I am looking forward to trying some of their other more specialized heads when I re-order more.
Overall, this is a must have for good oral health and I wouldn't live without it. If you use this twice daily, along with flossing and a non-alcoholic mouthwash, you will be amazed at how good your oral health can be. I am no longer worried about visiting the dentist. I get easy check-ups every 6 months and it can save you a ton of money on dental bills in the long run!

This Philips Sonicare model comes with the EasyStart feature activated, which gently increases the power over the first 14 brushings. You can deactivate the feature by following these steps:
1: Put the handle on the plugged-in charger.
2: Press and hold the power on/off button while the handle remains on the charger.
3: Keep the power on/off button pressed until you hear a single short beep (after 3 seconds).
4: Release the power on/off button.
- Triple tone of high-med-low means the EasyStart feature has been deactivated. The battery level indicator light will blink amber 1 time to confirm deactivation. We hope this helps!

I love this toothbrush!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this toothbrush last week and I can't praise it enough. It vibrates so strong but the bristles are pretty soft. It's a perfect combination. It's easy to clean and the charging station is very easy to set it on but sturdy enough not to topple over. I've noticed after using is that I don't have nearly as much build up on my floss that I get when using a standard toothbrush. Also I have an extremely small mouth and it's small enough to get into the back where I still have a couple wisdom teeth without hurting my jaw. I WILL be purchasing some more when needed for me but asap for my kids and husband as they have tried mine and want one if their own lololol

My wife and I have both used Sonicare toothbrushes for about 25 years. We bought two of these 4100 models, as we already have used them for years Our opinion is the new ones are worthless and don't deserve one star. The brushing action is minimal and can't be effective for healthy results.

Excellent Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a wonderful experience using this product. It has so many benefits going for it. Very compact and fits right on my bathroom countertop. It also charges very quickly, I've never had an issue with the battery dying or the power of the brush being effected in any way. The brush itself offers a dynamic and absolutely amazing cleaning. I feel like it really gets in between all the crevices in my mouth and really allows me to get that kind of clean that I am after. I have used other brushes, but this one is above and beyond anything I have ever used. I would highly recommend this product to anyway. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The head of the brush is also very comfortable, I always worry about my gums with an electric toothbrush, but the speed as well as the design of the brush head made for a very smooth and amazing experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dirty little secret with these SonicCare brushes is the motors are similar in all SonicCare products. This model is a perfect value and the more expensive models ($25+) only have small additional features. The battery life is good. It has a fun little stand it sets on. For me, it lasted about 14 uses before needing a charge again. This product delivers and is perfect for my needs and the price is right! Buying a 10-pack of additional generic brushing heads is best way to go. They last longer than standard toothbrushes. Overall, I’m saving money and excited about brushing my teeth with a giant vibrating thing in my mouth.

Button failure

This is the second time I have had this toothbrush, and the second time it has failed in less than a year. The button wears through very fast. Last time I owned this toothbrush it woke me up in the middle of the night buzzing. There was nothing I could do to stop its demonic frenzy. I panicked in a fit of tired rage, tried to break it in half, and ended up throwing it out the window to buzz to death in the rain. My mom had the same thing happen to hers! Very strange. I'm waiting for the one I currently own to do the same thing, and based on the button already starting to go, I expect it to happen in the near future.
