Can’t use because no charging block included!

I have been wanting one of these for years and finally ordered it. Boy was I disappointed and irritated when I opened it. There is no charging block/plug in the box! I don’t know about anyone else but my bathroom doesn’t have a USB port anywhere in it so this is unacceptable! No product should be sold without everything required to use it! So tired of companies cheaping out with their products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Sonicare electric toothbrushes since they first came out in the early 1990's. I've LOVED them, and used nothing else, for almost 30 years. But after recently buying two new models, and intensely disliking both, Sonicare is about to lose this customer to Oral B. My most recent purchase makes a high-pitched screeching sound most of the time (similar to tinnitus), which is utterly annoying. It's "smaller" than earlier models (not an attribute, in my opinion; I like a firm grasp on my toothbrush); and I'm not a fan of the new USB ports instead of a regular electrical plug. Bye, Sonicare.

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your Sonicare 4100 Series toothbrushes! Wow, thanks for using our Sonicare toothbrushes for the last 30 years, we are happy to hear that they have played a big part in your oral hygiene routine since the early 90's. What a shame that the two recent models that you have used are not holding up, we hope we can help improve your current brushing experience. Firstly, fully charge your current Sonicare for 24 hours with no interruptions. Check that the charger is not placed on a metal surface or close to other chargers, as this can interfere with the charging process. One fully charged, replace the brush head with a new Philips brush head and try again. We hope this helps!
If the issue persists, please feel free to get in touch via social media. We’re available 24/7 on Facebook and Twitter. Alternatively, you can reach out to us via the contact page on our website www.philips.com/support. One of our colleagues will then try their best to help you further.
Hope to speak to you soon!

Weak brush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toothbrush is too lightweight and has a very weak brush strength or vibration. I lost my Elite toothbrush that I’ve had for 20 years so purchased the 4100 to replace it. I actually hate my new toothbrush and regret not doing more research before buying it.

Hi, Thank you for writing your review, your opinion is highly valued. We're sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with the vibration of your toothbrush. This weak vibration may be caused by your Sonicare still having the Easy-Start feature activated. The EasyStart feature gently increases the power over the first 14 brushings to help you get used to the brushing with the Philips Sonicare. To deactivate this feature, follow the instructions on page 14 of the user manual: https://philips.to/3y713Ej. Furthermore, do know that your brush head is equipped with two intensities; Low and High. To change between intensities follow these instructions: - Press the power button once to turn on the toothbrush. - Press a second time within 2 seconds to change the intensity Hope this helps!

Great entry level model electric toothbrush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sonicare 3100 is a great entry level toothbrush for those on a budget or wanting to just try out an electric toothbrush for the first time. This is a newer 3100 model that has 2 intensities and a Pressure sensor. It has an advertised 14 day battery life which is accurate but I'm unsure if this model uses a NiMH battery or a lithium ion battery. The charging stand works well and uses a USB connection for power, it does not include a USB power adapter.
It does a great job at cleaning my teeth and gives me a "straight from the dentist's office" sensation. I prefer the stronger intensity but I can see where some folks with more sensitive teeth and gums would prefer the lower setting. It does such a good job that I'm now curious about the higher-end Sonicare models that claim even better cleaning performance than the 3x this model states. Itching for an upgrade to a more powerful model now.

Good toothbrush but missing some aspects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice toothbrush. Has a smooth, elongated look and is worth the value. It is a bit annoying that the cord does not come with a connecter (aka not self sufficient) and the kit only comes with one brush insert. However it delivers a clean wash for sure!

Good toothbrush but poor quality

The on/off button broke within a few months of owning the toothbrush. The rubber bit tore and came off. Tried to fix it with tape, which worked for awhile but wasn’t waterproof. Within a year it stopped working all together.

Not enough power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went down from the diamond clean to this line and it just doesn't have enough power in comparison. Sometimes I brush my teeth twice in a row.

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your Philips Sonicare 4100 Series toothbrush. We are sorry to hear that it does not appear to have enough power and hope we can improve this for you. Firstly, can you make sure the handle is fully charged for 24 hours with no interruptions. Check that the charger is not placed on a metal surface or close to other chargers, as this can interfere with the charging process. Secondly, your Sonicare toothbrush gives you the option to choose between a low and high intensity. You can try the higher intensity to see if this is more suitable by following these steps: 1. Press the power button once to turn on the toothbrush. 2. Press a second time within 2 seconds to change the intensity. We hope these suggestions help!

Attractive; efficient; gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the Phillips 4100 Series Sonic Electric Toothbrush with it's compact brush head allows me to fully clean my teeth and reach into uneven gaps and spaces. It is just powerful enough for a thorough cleaning, and stores neatly in the charging holder. The charger requires a USB connection, and there are inexpensive USB to plug-in devices available, so I purchased one. I would suggest that Phillips include a USB to plug-in device in the package. I am very pleased with the quality and usefulness of this electric toothbrush and plan to purchase another one for my husband.
