It was recommended by by new dentist to ease the stress that regular brushing has on the gums. I have been using it for two months and it seems great. However, I really won't know until my next dental appointment if it had a positive impact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Especially compared to earlier versions of Sonicare, the 4100 is light, comfortable and effective. The smaller brush heads are a plus for reaching back teeth, and charging is more convenient than earlier versions.
