Love it, BUT…

I purchased my Phillips 3100 toothbrush at the recommendation of my dental hygienist, and I love the toothbrush, BUT, I was extremely disappointed when it started to fail only 6 months after I purchased it. Twice, it turned on by itself (after turning it off, I walked by the bathroom later and heard it buzzing and jumping around). Once, it got very hot while on the charger. Then, I started having to charge it every 3
Days or so (instead of every two weeks). It stopped holing a charge. Finally, the Amber “time to change the brush” light went on and would not turn off even when I tried to reset it after putting a new brush on.
The good news is Phillips replaced it under warranty. Just received the replacement today and I’m hoping it lasts longer than the first one did! And today the first one won’t even turn on at this point.

My favorite feature is the 30 second interval timer so I spend the right amount of time on each quadrant of my mouth. 10/10 toothbrush. Also the design and look of the toothbrush is classic and elegant, with good handfeel too.

Product works fine but did not come with USB adapt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toothbrush has USB charger and I do not have one in bathroom and don't think I should have to plug in kitchen outlet where I do have an outlet with USB port. This should come with a wall adapter for those that live in older homes.

I like the beeps at 30 second intervals so I can regularly and consistently change the area being brushed. I went away for about a week, and left the charger at home - I was able to brush twice a day for six days without a recharge!
