[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the Sonicare 4100. I had my previous sonicare for over 15 years. It still works great but no longer looks great. Also the battery no longer lasts long. I thought I would try this as a replacement. This is a good toothbrush. It is missing a few settings that I currently have. My old toothbrush has a sensitive setting and a massage setting(for your gums). I never use the massage but do always use the sensitive. The 4100 does not have a sensitive but the lower setting is only a little more powerful. It works for me. I do like that it has a sensor to make sure you don't brush too hard. One little annoyance for me is the charger being a usb. I know it isn't a huge deal and everyone has those blocks to plug it into but it still annoys me. For a more affordable toothbrush, I think this one will meet your needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely a five star rating when it comes to the overall end results. I love that there are two speed settings, and the pressure sensor. I've had this toothbrush for three months and I could feel the clean difference after the first brushing. My teeth, especially my back molars feel especially clean, all due to the small toothbrush head. I can reach all angles of my teeth with minimal effort. Additionally, a full charge lasts about a week so I don't have to keep it on the charger, not does my charger take up 'sink counter space. Based on my experience, the price, and the results, I would highly recommendations toothbrush.

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your Philips Sonicare 3100 Series toothbrush. We are sorry to hear of your disappointing experience so far, and hope we can improve your next brushing session! This Philips Sonicare model comes with the EasyStart feature activated. The EasyStart feature gently increases the power over the first 14 brushings to help you get used to the brushing with the Philips Sonicare. If you'd like to deactivate this feature, you can follow these steps: 1. Put the handle on the plugged-in charger. 2. Press and hold the power on/off button while the handle remains on the charger. 3. Keep the power on/off button pressed until you hear a single short beep (after 3 seconds). 4. Release the power on/off button. - Triple tone of low-med-high means the EasyStart feature has been activated. The battery level indicator light will also blink green 2 times to confirm activation. Triple tone of high-med-low means the EasyStart feature has been deactivated. The battery level indicator light will blink amber 1 time to confirm deactivation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toothbrush worked fine but after about two weeks the battery needed to be charged after only 2 or 3 uses. Now it barely makes it through a single use before dying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The charge doesn’t last long enough. After charging for a full 12 hours it should last more than a couple of days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many years of using a manual toothbrush, I would quickly brush my teeth and be on my way. With this Philips Sonicare that has a 2 minute timer, I first thought, 2 minutes of brushing? I’ve never done that before. But after using this toothbrush, the 2 minutes seems to fly by. My teeth feel so much cleaner now, and my dentist said my gums look healthier. I am 54 years old, and I have no idea why I waited so long to switch to electric. I highly recommend this toothbrush!
